Earth Partnership Teacher's Workshop

When: June 26 through June 30 from 9:00am - 3:00pm

Join us for a 5-day workshop using the outdoors as an educational tool to learn about native ecosystems and how you can transform your schoolyard into a learning lab all while improving the health of Ohio’s waterways.

Earth Partnership seeks to:

  • Bring people together interested in linking environmental and health concerns to
    academic achievement in science, math, social studies, language and the arts.
  • Partner with communities to broaden participation and generate enthusiasm among youth to become the next generation of environmental stewards.
  • Integrate Latino perspectives and experience with Earth Partnership’s ecological
    restoration education programs in diverse watersheds and ecosystems. Lesson plans translated into Spanish.
  • Address the needs of K-12 educators for culturally accurate and authentic resources across the curriculum.

Fee: $100 - includes instruction, materials, Earth Partnership K-12 Curriculum Guide, Project Wild curriculum guide. (Project Wild guides are provided free-of-charge by the ODNR-Division of Wildlife)

For an additional $165 you can earn 3 graduate credits from University of Wisconsin.

Funding for school projects will be available upon completion of this workshop.
