Rain Barrel Workshop - Cleveland Heights

Rain Barrel Workshop - Cleveland Heights

When: April 18 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm
Where: Lee Road Library (Brody/Nelson Room), 2345 Lee Road Cleveland Heights, Ohio 44118 map this

Learn how to harvest rainwater for all your garden needs and to combat stormwater pollution in your community by constructing a rain barrel!

A rain barrel is a container used to collect and store rainwater that would otherwise be lost to runoff and likely diverted to a storm drain. Collected water may then be used to water lawns and gardens. Each participant will have the opportunity construct a rain barrel to take home.

Rain Barrel: $60
For an additional rain barrel to make a two barrel system: $20

FREE if you just want to come to the workshop to listen to the information and not purchase a barrel.

Registration is closed.

When you order a barrel for a workshop, please do your best to be at the workshop or let us know 72 hours in advance if you cannot make it. We get the barrels shipped to the site and if we have someone who does not show up, we are left with the barrel. Thank you!

If you order online and cannot make the workshop, you may apply your payment to a future workshop. There is a $5 processing fee for any refunds from on-line orders.

Lastly, please note that Jeff Jowett, Watershed Team Leader from the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, will be at the workshop to answer questions you may have about the NEORSD Stormwater Program Fee Credit process and application.
