26th Annual Big Creek Watershed Clean Up

For 26 years, volunteers have been meeting up to help us clean Big Creek!

Join us on the first Saturday in June to clean trash out of the creek and surrounding areas.

Volunteers are needed in three locations. 

  • Brookfield Park (Brookfield Ave. between Bellaire & W. 130th)
  • Brooklyn City Fire Station (8400 Memphis Ave.)
  • Snow Road Picnic Area (along Big Creek Parkway)

Registration is not required, and we welcome anyone and everyone who wants to help us clean up Big Creek! Hope to see you there!

Event FAQs
What should I wear?

Long sleeves, pants, boots or work shoes are recommended. No open-toe shoes!

Do I need to bring anything?

Bags and work gloves will be provided! Other than that, just a willingness to help out!

Can I bring children to this event?

Sure, but any children under 18 must have adult supervision!

Will food/drink be provided?

You know it! Refreshments will be provided for volunteers. We will have cups for water but bring a refillable water bottle if you have one. Please contact Nichole is you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions at 216/867-0686 or nlopez@cuyahogaswcd.org,

Accessibility

The site locations are not ADA accessible and may require traversing in uneven terrain.
