Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve
If you are looking for a deep dive into local aquatic ecology, this is the training for you!
Engage in hands-on monitoring and learn how to integrate this data into your practice. Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) hosts this one-of-a-kind immersive overnight experience. Room and board are included.
Participants are eligible for a $200 stipend and 1 free credit hour of graduate credit from Ashland University, but they must attend all three days of the workshop.
Registration is required no later than Friday, June 6 to ensure we can prepare all the materials needed for you.
TOTE is presented in collaboration with Old Woman Creek National Estuarine Research Reserve and partially funded by a NOAA B-WET grant.

This program involves physical activity including walking up to two miles each day on natural surfaces and stairs, entering chest height water in waders, and paddling in a canoe or kayak. Participants will stay overnight in a dormitory with restrooms that are not ADA compliant.
