2024 Conservation Poster Contest Registration Deadline

Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District sponsors an annual poster contest for Cuyahoga County students in grades K-12. The 2024 National Association of Conservation District (NACD) Stewardship Week and Poster Contest theme is “May the Forest Be with You, Always.”

• Students may begin their posters on or after Tu B’Shevat, the New Year of Trees, Wednesday, January 24th, 2024.
• Register your class or youth group for the contest by 6:00pm on Arbor Day, April 26th, 2024
• Submission deadline is 6:00 p.m. on the International Day for Biological Diversity, Wednesday, May 22nd, 2024

Each teacher or group leader must register separately and provide direct contact information so we can contact you if your student wins. First and second place district winners from each grade band will be forwarded to the state competition in the summer. Quantity is the number of students in your class or youth group. Please be sure to note the name of your school or group and the grade of your students in the address and /or comments section of the registration.

Awards will be given for 1st and 2nd place in the following grade categories: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12

You will email digital copies of the 2 best posters from your class or youth group for judging in the district competition to csommers@cuyahogaswcd.org.
