Mayfield Heights Beautification Day & Tree Give Away

May 11, 2024 | 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Let’s work together to beautify Mayfield Heights as we make a “clean sweep” across the city by picking up trash and performing other general clean-up projects as the spring season begins. The Mayfield Heights Beautification Day allows families, community groups, churches, local businesses, and teenagers who need to perform service hours to participate. Young children are encouraged to attend if a supervising adult accompanies them.

If you would like to be a part of this community effort, please call the Mayfield Heights Recreation Department at 440-442-2627.

After the clean-up, Cuyahoga SWCD will be presenting on the importance and benefits of native trees at the community center. The first 50 registrants will receive a free one-gallon size native tree to plant at home. You must register AND attend the 30-minute presentation to receive a free tree. Trees are available on a first come, first served basis, limit one tree per household. If we have extra trees on the day of the event, residents must still attend the presentation to receive a free tree.
