Branching Out: Empowering Educators to Embrace Outdoor Learning

June 10, 2024 | 9:00 am - June 13, 2024 | 3:00 pm

Join us for a 4-day educator workshop this summer exploring outdoor lesson plans, resources, and project ideas. Learn how you can use correlated environmental education curricula and resources (including funding avenues) to re-energize your students and improve learning outcomes.

 

-Project Wild, Aquatic Wild, Wonders of Wetlands & Project Learning Tree certifications and curriculum guides

 

-Educator tours of the Watershed Stewardship Center and the University of Akron Field Station

 

-Visit to the Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve and Rockefeller Park & Greenhouse

 

-1 graduate credit from Ashland University is available upon completion for an additional $185. Scholarships may be available for Cuyahoga County teachers.

 

Cost: $50*

 

Dates: June 10-13

 

Location: various sites in Cuyahoga  Summit Counties
