Construction to restore 800 feet of in-stream habitat and floodplain access along the East Branch of the Rocky River at Royalton Farms in North Royalton began in late August and is currently underway. The project, funded by Ohio EPA's Section 319 grant program and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, is being implemented by Cuyahoga SWCD through a contract with the design-build team of Enviroscience, Inc. and River Reach Construction. The project is expected to be completed this fall. Project partners will be hosting a Tour of the project on Thursday, September 19 at 4:00pm. This unique opportunity will give attendees the chance to see a restoration project in progress.
