Kate grew up in the Chagrin River watershed before pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Botany at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. From there, she earned her Master’s degree in Conservation Ecology at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor where she discovered a love for watersheds and has been working for watershed-based organizations ever since.
Kate enjoys gardening, foraging, reading, and hiking with her fur-niece.
