Your donation will have a significant impact in our community and our environment.
Thank you for your support!
In 2021, Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District’s Board of Supervisors approved the creation of the Cuyahoga SCWD Conservation Action Grant & Scholarship Fund. The purpose of this Fund is to reduce financial barriers of youth participating in environmental education programs, as well as for community members in adopting conservation practices at home and in our community. The Cuyahoga SWCD Conservation Action Grant & Scholarship Fund is funded through donations to Cuyahoga SWCD and through budget allocations by the Board of Supervisors.
Support a local youth in attending Camp Canopy and be a part of the journey of a young student on their way to becoming a forester, a teacher learning from a workshop and incorporating creative lesson plans into their classroom, or provide a scholarship for a community member to one of our many programs. Your support will help offset the cost of participation for local residents, students, and teachers in our education programs.
Cuyahoga SWCD’s Conservation Action Grants were designed to help community members adopt conservation measures such as community gardens, planting trees, and landscaping with native plants. Small grants ($500-$1,000) are available to help cover costs of materials, supplies, and other related project expenses. Your donation helps sponsor Conservation Action Grants throughout Cuyahoga County.
