At Cuyahoga SWCD we recognize historic and system racism created disparities in our communities, leading to unequal access to greenspace and nature, exposure to pollution, and subsequent health impacts. As Cuyahoga County’s leader in environmental education and public involvement, we understand that our organization plays a key role in supporting environmental justice efforts at all levels of the community. We are committed to educating, engaging, and advocating for our residents and community leaders to ensure our projects and programs are best meeting their needs.
