Cuyahoga SWCD is governed by a board of five Supervisors, each elected to a three-year term.
Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District’s Board of Supervisors are elected public officials tasked with helping shape and direct the Cuyahoga County’s conservation priorities. Five (5) supervisors serve on the board, each serving a three-year term. Annual elections are held for open positions and Cuyahoga residents and landowners over 18 years of age are eligible to vote in the elections.
In addition to the elected Board Supervisors, Cuyahoga SWCD often has several Associate Supervisors also serving on the board. Associate Supervisors are appointed by the board and typically serve for a 1-year term. They are generally concerned citizens with interest and expertise to help elevate conservation throughout the county.
