Educational Service Center of Northeast Ohio (ESCNEO)
6393 Oak Tree Boulevard South
Independence, Ohio 44131
The Symposium will showcase student-led environmental investigations and action projects from across Cuyahoga County. Prizes will be awarded to the strongest student presentations in each of the several categories. There is still time for interested Cuyahoga County high school and middle school teachers to enter their students in the Symposium.
The Career Expo will provide these participating students an opportunity to connect with conservation professions from around the greater-Cleveland area. This is the 2nd annual Student Symposium and Career Expo hosted by Cuyahoga SWCD and this event’s purpose is to connect students with hands-on immersive learning through the Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE) framework and with information about pathways into the field. Representatives from local conservation agencies will share their professional journeys with the students.
ESCNEO is generously providing the venue for the event. Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District is generously sponsoring student awards and a tent for the outdoor displays.
Teachers who are interested in attending should complete this interest form.
