Cuyahoga SWCD's annual native plant, seed, tree, and shrub sales offer residents an opportunity to easily purchase native plants and seeds best suited for their yard and maintenance abilities. Get your native plants and seeds here!

Fall 2025 Native Plant Kit sale is OPEN!

These pre-designed native plant kits feature a variety of wildflowers, grasses, and sedges! Each plant kit contains 50 plugs, representing 10 or more species. Kits are purposely designed for an extended period of bloom and interest. Individual species are labeled with the common and Latin name, plant height, bloom time, color, and additional growing information. Each kit covers around 100-200 sq. feet (depending on how you plant them).

Native Seed Mixes

Native seed mix packets contain 1oz PLS (Pure Live Seed) which is enough to cover around 250 sq. feet. These mixes typically grow to a height of 3-5 feet however each site is unique and several factors (sunlight, hydrology, soil health) can affect overall height. The native perennials in these mixes do require some patience to establish, but for instant gratification, consider adding a Fast Flowering packet for some quick establishing annuals. All seeds are packaged by OPN Seed.
