Associate Supervisor
Ruth has degrees in biology from St. Xavier University and Cleveland State University and in Educational Leadership from Kent. Ruth retired from Cleveland Municipal School District where she taught biology and environmental science before becoming an administrator.
Ruth and her husband, Leo Deininger, reside in Cleveland Heights, landscaping their yard primarily with native plants. They own and manage a tree farm in Coshocton County where they have implemented many conservation practices. She is an active member of the Cleveland Hiking Club and enjoys spending quality time in her kitchen with her baking pans and cast-iron skillet.
