This unique event blends student action project presentations with a conservation-focused career expo where students can meet local conservation professionals and learn about all the conservation opportunities here in Northeast Ohio.
Important Dates
How can my students participate in the Student Symposium?
The symposium is designed to highlight student environmental action projects happening across the county. The best way to help students complete an environmental action project is through a Meaningful Watershed Education Experience! Click here to learn more.
Once students have completed their action projects, they will need to design a poster that communicates what they did and what problems it addressed in their community. The day of the symposium students will present their projects to our expert judges who will determine category winners. Think science fair vibes, but action project focused!
Students who participate in the Student Symposium will be invited to attend the Conservation Career Expo and to join us at the awards lunch honoring their hard work immediately following the expo.
