Our yards and homes have an enormous impact on the natural world and to our own health. Learn how to replace chemicals in your yard and home with a few inexpensive, all-natural, effective ingredients to create a healthy habitat for all.

Rain Barrels

Started in 2008, the District’s annual Rain Barrel Program has sold over 6,000 rain barrels to the public and conducts 20-25 rain barrel workshops each year.

Camp Canopy

Cuyahoga SWCD provides annual sponsorships for students to attend Camp Canopy. Sponsorships are awarded to Cuyahoga County high school students who are sincerely interested in conservation issues and enjoy a good walk in the woods. It is a unique experience that will expose students to the great outdoors and to possible careers in forestry, conservation
